About Peter Craig MD
Engaged with an emergency medicine company in Austin, TX, Peter Craig, MD has practiced emergency medicine for more than 16 years. He began his career as a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, then relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to pursue an emergency care residency training program at Hennepin County Medical Center. While there, Dr. Craig taught advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and advanced trauma life support (ATLS) at Regions and Hennepin County Medical Center.
After completing his residency, Peter Craig, MD, remained in Minnesota and served as a locum tenens emergency physician at several medical centers, including Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital of Mankato and North Memorial Medical Center of Golden Valley. In 2003, he left Minnesota to accept a position as a partner with Amarillo Emergency Physicians in Texas.
Peter Craig, MD, served in Amarillo for nearly five years, during which time he cared for patients in the trauma center at Northwest Texas Healthcare Center. He went on to practice in the large-capacity trauma center of Baptist St. Anthony Hospital before transitioning into his current role with Victoria Emergency Associates of Austin, TX. Dr. Craig now practices at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio.
